Feedback Requested: PTA Meeting Survey (Updated 1.24.25)

After what was a busy and exciting start to the 2024-25 school year, things have settled down somewhat, and with that comes an opportunity to reflect and assess. We are grateful for the many contributions of our PTA members and to the community at large. Longfellow continues to show why it’s a special place for our kids to go to school. In large part that has to do with the people that make it up: again, thank you for your presence.

As the PTA gets back into the swing of things following the holiday break, one step we’ve planned for is to collect feedback on how we’ve done, as well as to report out on some of our accomplishments and observations. While we know we can’t get everything right, we hope to do the best we can, and improve when possible.

In that vein, below is a link to our first survey that focuses specifically on the monthly PTA meetings, kids program, and Family Fun Events. This is a short survey and should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Please complete the survey by Wednesday, February 5.

The feedback you share is important and will help determine the meeting dates and times for the remainder of the 2025 school year. Please note, in the coming weeks we plan to send another survey that has a broader focus.

As an incentive, for every 10 completed surveys, one person will be selected at random and awarded a gift card. In order to be eligible, please provide your email address at the end of the survey.

LoES Book Vending Machine

This volunteer opportunity is available every morning school is in session, year-round, 9:10-9:35am. Also, be sure to complete you mandatory HCPSS volunteer training, and have your paperwork on file with the front office BEFORE volunteering. (Once completing the training you are covered for the entire school year). The online training is available at https://www.hcpss.org/parents/volunteer-information/.
