VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

LoES Book Vending Machine

Click here to sign up and volunteer for the LoES Book Vending Machine.

This volunteer opportunity is available every morning school is in session, year-round, 9:10-9:35am. Also, be sure to complete you mandatory HCPSS volunteer training, and have your paperwork on file with the front office BEFORE volunteering. (Once completing the training you are covered for the entire school year). The online training is available at https://www.hcpss.org/parents/volunteer-information/.

Consider serving as PTA Recording Secretary for next year. Email Exec if interested at loesptainfo@gmail.com. We will miss Kishia Blackburn who is moving! PTA can appoint the person when it’s in cycle (during the two year term). The main responsibility is typing notes at each PTA meeting.
Consider serving as PTA PTACHC (PTA Council of Howard County) Representative for next year. The main responsibility is attending the PTACHC meeting once every or every other month and then reporting back to the members. Email Exec if interested at loesptainfo@gmail.com.

Consider serving as our Hospitality Committee Chair. We are so grateful to Kristen Flaherty for the time she’s put into the role. This person would coordinate with PTA Exec and LoES administration to plan and implement lunches, dinners, gifts, etc for our staff most months of the school year.
